DoodleBob attempted to erase SpongeBob with the pencil, but SpongeBob ultimately discovered that if DoodleBob comes in contact with paper, it seals him into the paper, so SpongeBob sealed DoodleBob into a book. However, DoodleBob went hostile and SpongeBob erased him, but one of his arms remained and in the night he stole the pencil and redrew himself. When SpongeBob and Patrick realized this, SpongeBob drew DoodleBob, intending to fool Squidward. Whatever is drawn with the pencil comes to life. There are versions of this character available that don't have their own branch articles!ĭoodleBob (or DoodleBoy as called by SpongeBob at times) was a crudely-drawn self-portrait of SpongeBob SquarePants that came to life.ĭoodleBob's only appearance in the series was in the episode "Frankendoodle", where he was created when SpongeBob and Patrick found a special pencil from a human artist who accidentally threw it into Bikini Bottom while in a boat.
